When I was a kid, I would take apart my toys to discover what make them move or their tiny lights flash on and off. Then I'd create something different from the sum of its parts. Whether I'm tasked to design a logo, label, layout for an ad or a powerpoint deck— I'd approach it with the same curiosity and fascination with details and function. Having a degree in Industrial Design reinforced my childhood peculiarities— to go beyond what is visually engaging by being mindful of materials and processes. I'm also a DIY aficionado. Fixing my car, the clothes dryer and anything in between gives me the same sense of pride and accomplishment as seeing a creative project I was a part of in the shelves or on a screen.
Grill Mark Premium Charcoal Redesign
To be on par with other premium charcoal brands packaging in the market– modern san serif font and imagery on a black base color were adopted for the final design.
